The tough but agile Bristol F.2 Fighter, affectionately called the 'Biff', was to become the most successful fighter of the First World War, by 1918 helping restore the Allies' superiority in the skies over the Western Front. November 1917 - Lt Powell is seen pumping a deadly burst of machine gun fire into a diving Albatross as the aerial duel wheels and turns in a magnificent skyscape high above Cambrai.
